Greetings, from the Bog Witch!
Welcome friends, to the Hut of the Bog Witch. Where I'll be posting my ideas, sharing the great ideas of others, and talking about my own world of Emia, a planet not unlike our own, in a world where anything can happen.
The setting of my world is that of Emia, with it's own calendar and development based loosely on the D&D world of Faerun. The world of Emia is played using the 5e edition with some fun elements from the 4e edition thrown in. So there's our own version of the Spellplague and our own version of how that came to be.
The world of Emia, our campaign, has elements of modernity through portals that lead back to Earth in modern day, though this is sometimes a one way trip, and also that of space and time travel. Characters can be hanging out on Earth one moment, researching their thesis, and the next be a passenger on the Alibaster Bouy, a galleon sailing the Sea of Lost Souls off the coast of the Land of Myst. Through the rifts of time, characters have found a way to reach the plane of Emia, through high technology sending them into the bodies of the recently deceased and using those bodies as avatars to explore the world of Emia unbeknownst to them that it's not a game, but that there are real consequences for those in the land, escaping their own time where Omega World is a hostile space opera where Mars has been colonized and mutants and strange aliens roam the void and Earth itself has been blown asunder and pockets of humanity try to eek out a living in the remaining asteroids on dilapidated ships.
I'm looking forward to sharing my ideas with you, players and DMs alike, in making our role playing community that much more fun for all of us! Happy role playing out there!
